Iohannis: For Romania, a healthy economic vision means a competitive business environment

During a meeting with business representatives organized in late May, Romania's President Klaus Iohannis stated that, for Romania, a healthy economic vision means a competitive business environment that takes into account social protection and a competitive economy. According to a press release of the Presidential Administration and quoted by Mediafax, the meeting was attended by leaders of business organizations, employers′ associations and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During the meeting, President Iohannis said that this first round of consultations was primarily designed to assess the opportunities, challenges and priorities of the Romanian business environment. Furthermore, Iohannis stressed that the Presidential Administration's interest is to stimulate as strongly and sustainably as possible, at the same time, both private initiative and entrepreneurship in the Romanian economy.
