Genpact celebrates 10 years in Romania with a marathon of five events until the end of this year

Genpact, the largest employer and developer of talent outsourcing industry in Romania, celebrates 10 years of presence on the Romanian market, the company announced.

On the occasion, the company said that the series of events that will mark this moment started with a party dedicated to people who daily contributed to the success of the company – the Genpact employees. Thus, on July 31, the company held a summer party, in Bucharest. Built around the idea of "10 years at sea" , Genpact Summer Party hosted over 1,200 employees. The setting has been decorated with summer and sea items, custom décor, scarves anniversary logo, and temporary tattoos with stars and sea horses, dolphins, birds, knots, anchors or sirens.

Those present were able to enjoy special moments of entertainment and many surprises: an aquatic dance synchronously coupled with lights and music, laser show, and a spectacular live concert, supported by Loredana & Band. Going back to the beginnings of Genpact in Romania, Pascal Henssen, Genpact Senior Vice President and COO Americas, Europe and Africa, attending the party said: "We began our journey in a building with a floor with 80 men working together in an open-space office and job interviews were carried out on the terrace for coffee. Today we have two buildings in Bucharest, two in Cluj-Napoca, a dedicated education center in Bucharest and headquarters still waiting to be opened in 2016: 22,000 square meters dedicated exclusively Genpact, an eco building. I employ approximately 1,000 people in 2014, more than a competitive market, where the battle for young talent is more fierce than ever. 10 years later, the selection of the company candidates has become a very rigorous and consistent and at the same time innovative and contemporary times, according to the company statement. Thus, Genpact created www.youyourself.ro platform that allows quick access of candidates to the career opportunities available within the company, but challenging them to discover the interactive aspect of the recruitment process as well as useful information available in the knowledge hub. Genpact recruit young speakers of European languages, seeking more than just a job, who want a career and perseverance to fulfill the dream of professional development. Of course, all this is rewarded by the company: 75% of open roles are covered by internal promotions in Genpact.

Marathon menus anniversary events for the next five months includes the company′s summer party (Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca), an important event for CSR, the launch of a national platform for employees, a cocktail birthday and the Christmas surprises concluding the series of events.
