John Oldham is the new general manager of Ford Craiova plant

The Craiova Ford factory has a new general manager - John Oldham, with a 35 year experience at Ford Great Britain and Ford Europe and who has been assistant production manager at Ford Romania since 2015.

Oldham replaces Jan Gijsen who had been in charge of Ford operations in Romania in the last 5 years and was appointed director of the European Manufacture Transformation Division at Ford Europe.
The new director of Craiova Factory has an experience of 35 years an is familiar with Craiova factory, where he came in 2013 as manager of the Engine Works with 1,000 employees. In 2015 he was appointed assistant production manager at Ford Romania, supervising both the engine and vehicle manufacture.

Attila Szabo was appointed general manager of the National Sale Company Ford Romania, based in Bucharest and replaced Valerio Brenciaglia, who became director of the PR department at Ford Italy.
According to Ford Romania, Attila Szabo joined the Ford team in 2001 and worked with the sales team as of 2003, holding several positions, including Fleet sales manager of Ford Hungary and European Direct Markets. In the last seven years, he worked for the Marketing Division of Ford Europe and recently headed one of the largest teams of the division as price manager, being in charge of ten European markets, including Great Britain, Italy, France and Spain.

Ford set up the National Sales Company of Romania in August 2010, two years after taking over Craiova Works, where the company has invested over a billion euros so far for the manufacture of engines and vehicles, turning the factory into one of the most modern and competitive production facilities held by the company at present.

In December 2015, Ford celebrated the manufacture of a million Eco Boost engines of 1 litre at factories in Craiova and Cologne.
