200 volunteers, including Ciolos, cleaned the Vacaresti Natural Park

Romanian Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos and Minister of Environment, Waters and Forests, Cristiana Pasca-Palmer, attended the cleaning action organized in late June by Let′s Do It, Romania! in Vacaresti Natural Park. They joined the 200 volunteers, who managed to collect more than 320 bags of waste, according to a press release. "I'm glad we managed after four years of studies, analysis and some bureaucracy to take eventually the decision and transform this area, abandoned for several years, where nature has reclaimed its rights, and declare it to be what it actually is: an urban natural park, the largest in the European Union as far as I know," said Ciolos, quoted by the release.
