CEZ Group Romania appoints Ondrej Safar as new CEO starting August 1
CEZ Group Romania announced that Martin Zmelik will end his eight years long job in Romania at the end of this month and will be replaced by Ondrej Safar, who will become the new Country Manager. 2018-07-11 16:27:24
Safar first came in Romania in 2005 for the construction of the Fantanele-Cogealac wind farm.
"We will continue to build here a Romanian company because we don't want to be just a foreign investor", he explained
In 2017, the turbines from Fantanele - Cogealac wind farm produced a total of 1.323 GWh, CEZ Group in Romania being the largest private energy producer from renewable sources, up from 1.100 GWh in 2016. Also, in December 2017, CEZ wind farm registered a peak in energy production of 154.599 MWh.
