4.Since the 1970s, Spanish cartoonists have taken advantage of a liberalised environment to address political, social and sexual issues in a graphic form. Spanish Ambassador Pablo Garcia-Berdoy attended the launch of an exhibition celebrating Spanish Democracy in Cartoons (1975 -2006) at the National Museum of Contemporary Arts (MNAC). 5. Crowne Plaza Hotel Bucharest has received a prize recognising its service and innovation in the 2006 Quality Excellence Awards, run by InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). General manager Franz Rattenstetter accepted the award at IHG’s 2007 Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Awards.
